Anti-wrinkle Treatments

The anti-wrinkle serum works by temporarily blocking the signal impulse between the nerve endings and the muscle and weakening the muscle that produces the facial lines. 

Initially treatments will be needed every four to six months, but fewer treatments are required as time passes and in some cases frowning habits are erased completely.  This treatment is often used with other products such as dermal fillers to rejuvenate and re-shape the face (see Advanced Non-surgical procedures).

Patients contemplating an anti-wrinkle treatment for the first time can relax in the care of our Shape Clinic practitioners, who have the experience and aesthetic skills to ensure patients are never over-treated – an approach which can result in the all too common “frozen” face appearance.

Procedure time:       Injections take about 5-10 minutes

Downtime:               None.

Duration:                  4 – 6 months (results will vary with each individual)

Anti-wrinkle injections can also be used to control excessive sweating in the armpits (hyperhidrosis).
